As a Corporate Associate you have the unique opportunity to explore each of our business units. Unlike typical training programs where you shadow employees as they go about their work, at Callahan you will be challenged to roll-up your sleeves and dive into projects from the first day.

Marketing & Communications
The MarComm Team is responsible for external client communication with the goal of growing the company's net revenue by 20% in FY08. The focus is to improve ROI to drive the company's revenue growth target of 23%. Staff members in this unit are responsible for:

  • Creating promotions for distribution through multiple channels and media, including direct mail, fax broadcasting and e-mail
  • Tracking marketing return on investment and success rates
  • Editing basic HTML web pages using DreamWeaver
  • Tracking results and making recommendations based on site traffic

Industry & Financial Analysis
Analysts are responsible for most of the content and analysis that go into our publications, software products and online seminars. Staff members in this unit are responsible for:

  • Understanding and analyzing balance sheets and income statements of financial institutions
  • Measuring financial performance with dynamic software tools
  • Writing analytical articles on credit union performance leaders for publication on the company's website
  • Handling incoming software support calls and online product demos

Client Relationship Development/Sales
This component consists of two target markets. Your dual focus will be on building relationships with the credit union market and interacting with companies that serve credit unions. You will hone your communication skills and understand the voice of the customer. Staff members in this unit are responsible for:

  • Marketing proprietary software products and assisting with user trainings
  • Working with suppliers who advertise on CreditUnions.com and in our publications
  • Helping vendors choose the appropriate media to build brand awareness, demonstrate their industry expertise and increase customer value proposition

E-Commerce
Where marketing and technology meet, the e-commerce group works to use all the available means via the constantly changing online channels communicate our message. Web presence is a contantly evolving medium, and keeping our business in line with current trends while making sure user experience remains simple and positve are critical responsibilities. Staff members in this unit are responsible for:

  • Updating our portal website, www.creditunions.com with new user communities and streamlined channels
  • Exploring new technologies to expand our online brand
  • Monitoring user experience (click-thrus and read rates) via web-tracking software and making recommendations based on these metrics
