Bob Minor

Bob Minor joined the Board of Callahan & Associates in 1995. In that same year he established his own consulting practice, in career coaching and consulting, which has provided services to individuals, private employers and federal agencies including the C.I.A. and the US State Department. Prior to that he held senior management positions with DBM, the international career counseling firm, with Clark Construction, one of the country's largest general contractors, and with the National Education Association. Earlier employment included the C.I.A, where he first became a credit union member, and the US Army. With Marymount University's MBA Program he taught at the Pentagon. In the Washington DC area he has served as officer and board member with five professional and educational groups. He holds BA and MA degrees from the George Washington University.

Randy Karnes, CEO
CU*Answers

CU*Answers (formerly known as WESCO), provides consulting services for credit unions, focusing on operational issues. CEO Randy Karnes leads a team of consultants that are expert in all areas of credit union concern, from accounting and compliance to customer service and back office operations. As experienced credit union and data processing professionals, CU*Answers consultants provide expertise on strategic planning for implementing technical solutions to operational needs, and are leaders in helping credit unions form strategic alliances and partnerships.

Mr. Karnes is a co-founder of Member Value Network along with Ed Callahan and Chip Filson. In 2001, Mr. Karnes joined the Callahan & Associates Advisory Board, and is very involved in the national credit union consulting community. Projects include several credit union annual planning sessions, a leadership role in helping credit unions form new CUSOs, and speaking engagements such as the Annual AICPA National Conference on Credit Unions.

CU*Answers' CEO since 1994, Randy Karnes has been involved in the credit union industry since 1985. Previously, Mr. Karnes worked as Senior Vice President in charge of both thrift and credit union data processing solutions for Fiserv/Spokane, focusing on the development of the predecessor to the current CU*Answers flagship product, CU*BASE. Mr. Karnes' unique vision for the role of information management in credit union operations has set CU*Answers on a path for becoming one of the leading service providers in the Midwest.

Mark Elliott, President
MVN Leadership Services, LLC

Mark Elliott has 25 years of experience in management consulting domestically and internationally. He has consulted with hundreds of companies in a broad range of industries on issues involving leadership assessment and development, executive recruitment and assimilation, and organization development. His recent experience includes 12 years of consulting with credit union boards on CEO recruitment and succession. Mark has conducted executive searches for dozens of the largest credit unions, recruiting some of the industry's most respected and accomplished CEOs. Mark has written articles for credit union publications and has spoken on leadership issues at numerous national credit union conferences.

Most recently, Mark held a senior executive position with TMP Worldwide Executive Search. Previously he was a partner with the executive search firms, LAI Worldwide and Heidrick & Struggles. And earlier, he was president of an organization-development consulting subsidiary of DDI. Mark began his career with General Electric holding Human Resources positions in its Aerospace & Defense, Appliances, and Lighting businesses, culminating as Manager of Professional Staffing for GE Lighting.

Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and pursued graduate studies in Organizational Development at the University of Massachusetts.

Ron Daly, President/CEO
DigitalMailer, Inc.

Ron Daly is the President/CEO and co-founder of DigitalMailer, Inc., a Herndon, VA based firm founded in 2000. The company specializes in providing digital communication products that create strategic business advantages for the financial industry, namely electronic statements, eSurveys, e-newsletters and e-LERTs.

Prior to his association with DigitalMailer, Mr. Daly spent more than 20 years working as a senior executive with a top 100 credit union. Over the years, he became very interested in developing and implementing methods for saving money by operating more efficiently. His leadership of DigitalMailer is a natural outgrowth of that interest. He sees the electronic delivery channel as a way for CUs to save money, but believes its greatest value actually lies in the enhanced communication aspects, the cross-selling and marketing of CU products and the revenue generating opportunities.

Mr. Daly shares his expertise on this subject at many conferences, webinars and seminars discussing with his CU audiences "what else they can do with a member's email address" to save money and increase communication. Ron graduated from American University in 1985 with a degree in accounting and passed the Certified Public Accountants exam in 1986. In 2000 he earned a masters degree with a focus on entrepreneurial business from George Washington University.

Rosemary Brady Hardiman
Legal Counsel

Rosemary Brady Hardiman is a credit union attorney in private practice. Prior to going into private practice, she served for 10 years as the first Secretary of the National Credit Union Administration Board and later as Deputy Executive Director of NCUA.

Ms. Hardiman works with credit unions and credit union service organizations across the country on a variety of NCUA-related issues. She is a speaker at national and local credit union meetings, and has been a member of the faculty of NAFCU's Regulatory Compliance School. She is also a member of the American Bar Association's Credit Union Subcommittee.
