About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused HR & Office Coordinator to support both our human resources and office operations. This dual role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to help create a workplace where associates feel supported, valued and connected.
In this role, you’ll assist with HR processes like recruitment, onboarding and benefits while also helping manage facilities, IT coordination and day-to-day office needs. You’ll play a key part in reinforcing our “Best Place to Work” culture.
What You’ll Do
Human Resources Support
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment changes and associate communications
- Coordinate recruitment activities: scheduling interviews, supporting new hire orientations to create a welcoming and consistent experience for associates
- Maintain organizational charts, directories, and personnel records
- Help implement HR policies and procedures that support a fair and inclusive workplace
- Track compliance with federal and state labor regulations
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements
Office Administration Support
- Serve as a go-to contact for general office needs and requests
- Manage mailings, supply orders and building access cards
- Support workspace setup, vendor coordination and facilities needs
- Keep office areas organized and ready for use
- Provide administrative support for IT and equipment coordination
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of combined human resources and office administration experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); quick to learn new systems and tools
- Familiarity with federal and state employment regulations
- Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and associate experience
Preferred But Not Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now, DC Health Link and/or Compease
- Background in trade associations, financial services or non-profit/cooperative organizations
