What To Expect At Every Callahan Roundtable

Callahan Roundtables are attendee-driven networking events and continuously touted as some of the best events offered to credit unions each year.

During each roundtable can you expect:

  • Real, off-the-record conversations with their peers packed full of vetted solutions and idea sharing.
  • An attendee-driven, unscripted discussion.
  • Actionable takeaways you can implement at your own credit union.

To make sure we can accommodate as many individual credit unions as possible, we ask you only register one person from your credit union for each event. We’ll let you know if there is room and we can accommodate more.

Who Can Attend?

Callahan Roundtables are only open to credit union’s greater than $200M in assets that participate in Callahan’s Leadership Program. There is no registration fee to join us. However, to ensure that your fellow Leadership participants have an opportunity to join an event we ask that your credit union only register for four events throughout 2018 up front. If your credit union has already registered for three events you’ll be added to a waitlist or can pay a registration fee to “jump the line.” Click here to read our full attendance policy.

Roundtable Schedule Of Events

While your discussions are attendee-driven, we follow the same timeline for most of our events (except for Technology and Cybersecurity, click here to learn more).

Day 1

4:00 PM: Introductions & Happy Hour
NEW THIS YEAR! Many attendees have asked us to extend our Roundtable sessions. Starting at 4:00 PM we’ll do an around-the-room so you can introduce yourself to the other attendees. This is an opportunity to share your background, successes, and what you hope to get out of the event.

6:30 PM: Networking Dinner
Join us for a great night of dinner, drinks, and conversation.

Day 2

8:00 AM: Breakfast & Callahan Update
8:30 AM: Roundtable Starts
12:00 PM: Networking Lunch

Why Should I Attend?

How Many Attendees Are Present At Each Roundtable?

Roundtables are capped at 18 attendees. Sometimes there are less, but rarely will you see more. We do this on purpose. Between 15 and 18 attendees allows for a very open and honest discussion amongst those in the room – without one person or topic dominating the discussion.

How Much Does It Cost To Attend A Roundtable?

Most Roundtables are free for credit unions greater than $200M in assets that are part of Callahan’s Leadership Program.

The Call Center Roundtable (new in 2017) is $500/attendee.

Who Should Attend A Roundtable?

We know titles and roles vary from credit union to credit union. Callahan’s Roundtables are meant to be strategic discussion and for that reason, they are intended for the senior-most executive in the role at your credit union. If you aren’t sure, contact us and we can talk about it.

Can More Than One Person From My Credit Union Attend An Event?

To accommodate as many clients as possible, we request that only one person per credit union registers for each Roundtable. If you have more than one person who would like to attend the same event, contact us.

What Is On The Agenda?

We’ll finalize a list of discussion topics when we get closer to each individual event, in order to keep the topics as fresh and relevant as possible. We build the agenda based on feedback from registrants. Expect to hear from us one month before the event.

Can Credit Union Suppliers Attend A Roundtable?

These are credit union-only events.

Can I Join Virtually?

Roundtables are offered only as in-person events to maintain the integrity of the conversation.
