Guide to Company Admin Responsibilities

As the company administrator, your Callahan account has some additional options. This article will run through the features that a company administrator should be familiar with.

1. Setting Up a New User

To set up a new user, click “Account” in the left-hand navigation and then “Manage Users”. This is where you can edit different users as well as accepted email domains etc.

On the right side of the page, there is a button “Add A New User”. If you click this, a pop up will appear with new user information prompts. Fill this out and click “Save New User” to immediately add the user to the company profile.

2. Edit Individual Accounts (Deactivate Users/Reset Passwords/Make Admin)

In the same place (“Manage Users”) there is a list of all the employees that are linked to your company’s account. Next to every name there are two options, “Edit” and “Reset Password”. By clicking the “Reset Password” button, an email is automatically sent to the employee with instructions to reset their password for everything related to accessing your Callahan resources.

To edit an employee’s profile, including deactivation, click “Edit”. The pop-up shows the current profile settings for that employee. After editing these options, click “Save Updates” to instantaneously update the profile. To deactivate a user, click “Deactivate User” at the bottom of the pop-up. Once you do that, the “Deactivate?” check box in the initial employee list will be checked. The user can no longer access Callahan’s products, but the profile is not entirely deleted. This means any administrator at the company can go back into the account to gather data or they can reactivate the account at any time.

3. Update Company Information

To update your company information, navigate to “My Account” and then to “My Company”. Here you can edit your company information directly in the text box, and then select “Update Company Information” to save your changes.

4. Loading Logo for CreditUnions.com & Peer-to-Peer

To load a company logo that appears on all your Callahan reports and editorial pieces, click “Peer-to-Peer” in either the Quick Links or under Analytical Tools on the left-hand navigation.

At the top of your screen, click “Settings”. In the drop down there is an option, “Upload Company Logo”.

Uploading an approved picture of the logo will automatically add it to the profile and give users at the company the ability to add it to analytical.

5. Loading Quarterly Call Reports (XML)

In the settings drop down, there is an option “XML 5300 Upload”. When new 5300 data is released, you do not have to wait for the NCUA to release the full data set to do analysis on your credit union. Upload an XML version of your 5300 Call Report as soon as you have it ready to instantaneously begin benchmarking analysis with the most recent quarterly data.

6. Training Resources & Where They Are Located

Everyone at the company has access to support help, but administrators should be particularly familiar to help point coworkers to the correct resources. To begin, click “Support” in the Quick Links section or the left-hand navigation. This leads you to portal’s account support page. Here, you can find many different resources that will hopefully make your company’s use of Callahan as seamless as possible.

At the top of the analytics support page, there is an option “Training”. Here, you can sign up for live training with a Callahan expert.
